Ariel Huang

Ariel’s works explore our innate connection to other living and nonliving in the natural world, which is an idea she underlines through each aspect of the painting process, from color, composition to abstracting nature imagery such as geographies, animals, and plants. Her works also explore the idea of originality and reality through explorations of digital art and traditional art. She takes inspiration from a wide range of resources such as memories of her childhood, both western and eastern literature, music, and films. Her soft color palette across most of her work encourages a sense of calm and reflection in the viewer, inviting the viewer through the nostalgia her work invokes to reflect on their own memories and to become a little nostalgic about their own life.
